Stephaine Kailyn Marshall; died peacefully April 11, 2015 surrounded by the love of her family. She was 13 years of age.
Stephaine was born at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital on July 8, 2001, beautiful daughter of Arthur and Valerie (Johnson) Marshall. Stephaine was a parents dream come true. She loved school and not only did she embrace school; she excelled at it. Stephaine was just finishing up the 8th Grade at Carter Middle School of Warren when she was diagnosed Anaplastic Astrocytoma Grade 3. She took the news with stride and just like everything else in her life she faced it with a smile; stopping along the way to ask anybody she spoke to how they were doing. Stephaine always saw the good in everyone and in everything. With her positive attitude, she did things her way, not what everyone else was doing and she was in no hurry to grow up. Stephaine had a great sense of humor and was always laughing and happy. She adored her favorite comedian, Gabriel Iglesias and one of the greatest highlights of her life was meeting him. Stephaine enjoyed drawing, painting, playing video games, but most of all, snuggling up with her father watching their favorite shows together. She was a loving and caring young lady who has taught us all so much in her short time; how to live, laugh and love. Stephaine will be deeply missed and will remain steadfast in our hearts forever.
Stephaine is the cherished daughter of Art and Valerie; dearest sister of John; beautiful granddaughter of Glenn (Theresa) Johnson, Deb (Donald) Fernald and the late Carol and John Marshall; dear great granddaughter of Shirley (Bill) Tice and the late Allen White; beloved niece and cousin to many aunts, uncles and cousins; best friend forever to Brody Sayed; and a great friend to many.
Visitation will be at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, Sunday 2pm – 8pm with funeral and sharing at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family greatly appreciated for the continuing and future support of A Mission of Love.
