Obituary for Charles Carnagie
Charles George Carnagie, resident of Clinton Township, died peacefully January 7, 2018 in his home surrounded by the love of his family. He was 78 years of age.
Charles was born on September 16, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late George and Matilda (Panicucci) Carnagie. He was blessed with three sons of whom he was proud of, cherished and loved. He owned and operated Action Metal Processing Company for 28 years, retiring in 1987. Charles loved to keep himself busy and you could often find him tinkering around the house and watching sports. A clever man, he also enjoyed keeping track of the stock market. His greatest joy was his family. Charles always looked forward to family events and cherished each and every moment shared in their company. Above all, he was a family man who was never judgmental and always had great advice to give. Charles always had a special place in his heart for all animals. Although we grieve his passing, we are truly grateful for our Charles who taught us to be more genuine, loving people by the life he has led. He will be deeply missed.
Charles is the dearest father of Jeffrey (Kathleen), Michael (Christine) and Charles Carnagie; cherished grandfather of Lauren (Carter) Carnagie Hall, Nicole (David) Yaste, Amanda (Eric) Carnagie Bowers and Jennifer (Ryan) Carnagie Smith; former husband of the late Judith Carnagie; beloved brother of Anthony (Stacey) Carnagie, Carolyn (Frank) Phillips and the late Gregory (Linda) Carnagie; and loving uncle of eight beautiful nieces. He is also survived by his Jack Russell, Willow.
